Sampark Privacy Policy

This is a Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), Ministry of Finance, Government of India Application.

This mobile application is developed by Directorate General of Systems, a subordinate office of CBIC

The Sampark Handbook is the consolidated source of CBIC officials' contact information, facilitating collaboration and ease-of-connect between departments and its officials. It also provides officials with an organizational layout that allows them to better comprehend the organization's hierarchy

Collection of Information

CBIC have taken steps to ensure that we do not collect more information from User than is necessary for CBIC to provide User(s) with our services and to protect User(s) account.

Use of Personal Data

If User provides any personally identifiable Data to CBIC, we may only use it as consented by User

  • Subject to applicable law, to share necessary data with other Government agencies, so as to serve User in a most efficient and effective way, unless such sharing is prohibited by applicable law. We will not share your personal data with non-Government entities, except where such entities have been authorized to carry out specific authorized Government services.
  • For User’s convenience, to display to the User his/her own data which he/she had previously supplied on the application. This can expedite the submission process and save User from the inconvenience of repeating earlier submissions. When you find the data outdated, please supply us the latest data. We will retain User’s personal data only as necessary for the effective delivery of public services to User.
Changes in the Privacy Policy

Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be communicated by us posting an amended and restated Privacy Policy on the Application. Once posted on the Application the new Privacy Policy will be effective immediately

Children

We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at saksham.seva@icegate.gov.in. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.

Cookies

CBIC may use "cookies" where a small amount of data is sent to User’s browser to store and track information when visiting our websites. We use cookies to give you the best possible experience when visiting our websites. User can disable cookies through web browser’s settings and still access our websites. This may however prevent the user from taking full advantage of the website. The information we may collect about the user may include the frequency of use, preferred sites, browser type etc. While cookies can tell us when the user enter our sites and the pages user visits, it cannot read data off user’s hard
